A new feature of Best Travel Blog is our “Where Am I” photo.   We will publish a new photo each month and challenge our readers to be the first to determine where this photo was taken.  Can you guess?

There aren’t many places that you should put on your “must dine” list, but if you are in Baltimore, then a must dine stop is at:

Chaps Pit Beef
5801 Pulaski Hwy
Baltimore, MD 21205
(410) 483-2379
www.chapspitbeef.com

Chaps Pit Beef which has been featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives as well as on Man Versus Food — is worth the drive just for “the Raven” sub (smoked and sliced perfectly thin roast beef, turkey and corned beef) for $7.55. It’s a sandwich that can easily be shared, but you might just try to finish it all yourself.

The Raven isn’t the only great sub, there are 12 others:

Danny Dog (Ham-Sausage-Cheese)
Bull Dog (Beef-Sausage-Cheese)
Tom Dog (Turkey-Sausage-Cheese)
Tricom (Beef-Ham-Sausage-Cheese)
Habbit (Ham-Beef-Turkey-Cheese)
Chaps Special (Corn Beef-Ham-Beef-Cheese
Jennie Special (Ham-Turkey-Sausage-Cheese)
Guy’s Triple D (Beef, Corned Beef, Sausage)
The Gus (Ham-Corned Beef-Turkey
The Bob (Corned Beef-Turkey-Sausage)
The Markie (Beef-Turkey-Sausage)
The Big John (Beef-Ham-Turkey-Corned Beef-Sausage)

Not feeling like a huge sandwich? Then Best Travel Blog can recommend the chicken. Chaps smokes its chicken until it’s fall off the bone good. You can’t go wrong with their chicken if you’re avoiding red meat.

We found some of the sides to be “just okay”. However, we do recommend their French Fries with Gravy and their baked beans.

Roger’s Tip: Be sure to try the Tiger Sauce on any sandwich with Roast Beef
