We’ve sampled sushi at a variety of sushi places across the country, but there is something unique about this place that makes it worth a visit if you are new to the area or are a long time resident and looking for a favorite place to enjoy sushi

This is Walmart and JD Hunt country and so you’ll find: Walmart Rolls, Sam’s Rolls and even a JD Roll. But that’s not what makes this place unique. What makes Sushi King special is that once you’ve been seated you will be treated to complimentary menu items. Depending on the size of your group and the whim of the chefs you may be enjoying a dish of edamame or even a sample of one of the chef’s special rolls. Our party loved this as it allowed us to enjoy rolls and other dishes that we might not normally try — but will give us a reason to come back again and order complimentary rolls that are now our favorites. You will find your servers bringing a complimentary plate of pineapple and orange slices which makes for either a nice close to your meal or a palate cleanser between rolls.
While we can’t say that Sushi King has the best or freshest sushi — we can say that the service, ambiance and the chance to try something new without having to reach into your wallet makes this place one of our favorites.
