Can’t decide between Hilton’s Tapatio Cliffs or Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix? Let me help you decide.

The answer is simple. If you are traveling with kids, then Squaw Peak Resort should be your destination. If you are a single traveler or a couple looking for a romantic get-a-way, then Tapatio Cliffs should be your bungalow.
While the rooms at both of these Hilton Resorts are nearly identical, you will find that Squaw Peak seems to attract a lot of families. This is in part due to their “Hole-in-the-Wall River Ranch” which features a lazy river, water slide and other amenities.
In contrast, Tapatio Cliffs is spread out over a cliff and features several pools including a “hidden pool” for those late night dips with your sweat-heart. In addition, at the top of the resort is the “Different Pointe of View” restaurant with spectacular views of the city. If you are celebrating an anniversary or other occasion, don’t miss the opportunity to take in the views from the restaurant.

If you need a recommendation for a hotel in Saint Louis, then you’ll find the Hilton at the Ball Park a ”big hit” with your entire family.

The downtown location, proximity to the ball park, Arch and City Museum make this my favorite location when staying in St. Louis. Most rooms have either a view of the famous Arch or the ball park.
I have stayed at this location multiple times and my experience has been that the staff is always friendly and accommodating. On one of my trips, I stopped by the front desk to ask for a roll-away bed and when I returned to the room it had been setup for me.
Bottom line — I will stay here again!
